Rockies vs. Phillies (1:05 PM, EST)

Phillies Moneyline (-220) at Caesars Sportsbook

Philadelphia takes on one of the worst teams in baseball, the Rockies, on Thursday, and we don’t expect this to be much of a game. The Rockies will go with Antonio Senzatela on the mound against Taijuan Walker and the Phillies.

Senzatela allowed nine hits but no runs in his first start of 2025. He will now be challenged against one of the best offensive teams in the MLB.

Walker will make his first start on the year for Philadelphia against a team hitting .211 as a team. We expect Walker to dominate and go deep into this contest.

The Phillies should take care of business on Thursday to cash the first game of our parlay.

Astros vs. Twins (4:10 PM, EST)

Astros Moneyline (+100) at Caesars Sportsbook

Both the Astros and Twins have struggled to start the season as both teams are sub .500. Houston will have Hunter Brown on the mound against Joe Ryan and the Twins.

Brown was dominant in his first start on the year going six innings allowing just two runs with seven strikeouts. Minnesota has struggled offensively so Brown could have a similar performance in this matchup.

Ryan was also good in his first start going five innings allowing just one run. The bummer for Ryan is the Minnesota offense has been non-existent and he will hardly get any run support.

We will gladly take Houston at plus money considering they are the better offense and we think they will get to Ryan in this contest.

Reds vs. Brewers (7:40 PM, EST)

Reds Moneyline (-105) at Caesars Sportsbook

A pair of NL Central teams square off in Milwaukee between the Brewers and Reds. Both teams have struggled tremendously in 2025 as they are both 2-4.

The Brewers’ pitching staff has been the worst in baseball to start the year as they are allowing over eight runs per game. Nestor Cortes will get the start for the Brewers after throwing two innings and allowing eight runs in his first start.

Nick Lodolo will start for the Reds and he is coming off a great start against the Giants. He allowed two runs over six innings as he dominated the zone the whole game.

Lodolo is the far better pitcher in this spot as we can’t trust Cortes until he proves us wrong.

The Reds are hitting .239 as a team which is the 11th best in baseball right now. We expect their offense to be patient against Cortes and score runs early in this matchup.
