The New York Yankees aren’t going down without a fight. The Yankees pummeled the Dodgers in Game 4 of the World Series, allowing them to fight another day.
The 2004 Red Sox are the only team ever to come back from a 3-0 deficit and win the World Series, but the Yankees are set up very nicely. They have Gerrit Cole on the mound tonight, and if he pitches well, the series is headed back to Los Angeles.
However, history would show that the Dodgers are finishing off their opponent in Game 4, which is the backbone of our Game 5 parlay.

History shows that the World Series will conclude tonight. Of the 24 World Series that have started 3-0, all of them have been finished by Game 5. The Yankees have their ace on the mound in Cole, but Los Angeles can counter with Jack Flaherty, who has also been excellent.
The American League MVP, Aaron Judge, had a hit in Game 4, but he has still been very quiet, which doesn’t help the Dodgers cause heading into this contest.
Cole has been much better than Flaherty in the playoffs, but the numbers don’t do the Dodgers pitcher justice. Flaherty was excellent in his last start against New York, and Los Angeles ended up winning that baseball game.
Cole is 1-0 with a 2.82 ERA in the playoffs, but he also has a 1.3 WHIP, which is very high. In 22.1 innings, he has allowed 23 hits with just 16 strikeouts.
We don’t expect either pitcher to be in the game too long as they will both have a short leash. Yet, Los Angeles is better in every aspect of the game, outside the starting pitching, so we’re backing them for plus money.

Even with Cole on the mound, the eight-run total is too low. The Yankees and Dodgers have exceptional power, and the total has been reduced.
Two games in the series have gone under, and two have gone over, but last night’s game generated 15 runs. We believe both offenses have momentum coming off the big night, so we can’t take an under, especially at Yankee Stadium.
The short porch has been the victim of many home runs the past few nights. Anthony Volpe had a grand slam, which started New York's scoring.
Gleyber Torres also had a home run late in the game, and we still haven’t seen much power from Judge Giancarlo Stanton and Juan Soto. If everyone starts hitting, this game could get out of hand quickly.
Freddie Freeman and Will Smith also added home runs for the Dodgers last night. Many more capable players on the roster can also hit for power.
We expect a slugfest with struggling bullpen arms tonight.

We are taking Freddie Freeman to 2+ bases to close our parlay. Freddie Freeman continued to dominate last night, and we expect the same in Game 5.
Freeman has homered in six straight World Series games, which is remarkable. The rollover for Freeman's home runs would pay a lot of money, and we’re still getting great prices for all his props.
We’re taking Freeman 2+ bases for +125. He has recorded a hit in every World Series game and has totaled 19 bases. Even against Gerrit Cole, Freeman is a must-bet type of player.
