Chris Sale and the Braves take on the Reds in Cincinnati on Thursday afternoon. Atlanta comes into this matchup at 82-70 in the NL East. Cincinnati is 74-79 in fourth place in the NL Central.
Chris Sale has been the best pitcher in baseball this season and is looking to win the NL Cy Young award. He is 17-3 and has struck out 219 batters in 172.2 innings. Sale presents a clear advantage in this game, so we are backing the Braves in this spot.
The Reds are starting Julian Aguiar, who is 2-0 in 27.2 innings. He has struck out 15 batters and has a WHIP of 1.23. In his last start against the Twins, Aguiar allowed three earned runs in 6.1 innings.
The Braves are heavy favorites at -205 in this game, but for a good reason. Look for Sale to continue to dominate in 2024 and carry the Braves to a victory.

The next game we are focusing on features the Dodgers and Marlins. Los Angeles is 90-62, leading the NL West by 3.5 games over San Diego. Miami is 56-96 in last place in the NL East.
The Dodgers are going with Jack Flaherty who is 12-7 with an ERA of 3.04. Flaherty has big time strikeout ability as he has fanned 184 batters in 151 innings of work. Flaherty is coming off a rough start against Atlanta, but expect him to shine against Miami.
Edward Cabrera gets the ball for the Marlins and he is 4-7 with a 4.55 ERA. He has 99 strikeouts in 89 innings and has a 1.33 WHIP. Cabrera has been fantastic in his last three starts, but he will now face one of the best lineups in baseball.
The Dodgers are too much for Cabrera and the rest of the Marlins' pitching staff, so we are adding them to our parlay on Thursday.

We are taking the Cubs on the moneyline against the Nationals to wrap up our parlay. Washington is 68-84 in fourth place in the NL East, while Chicago is 77-75, trailing Milwaukee by 11 games in the NL Central.
The Nationals are starting Patrick Corbin, who has struggled tremendously in 2024. He is 6-13 with a 5.45 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP. The Cubs don’t have the best offense, but we feel like they have an advantage with the left-handed pitcher on the mound.
Javier Assad gets the ball for Chicago who is 7-5 with a 3.27 ERA. He has fanned 116 batters in 137.2 innings while maintaining a WHIP of 1.36. Assad has allowed a few too many free passes in his last couple of starts, but if he pitches to contact he should have no problem with the Nationals lineup.
We are backing the home team in this matchup and feel that Assad has the advantage over Corbin. Look for the Cubs to score many runs in this game to cash our parlay.
