Imanaga is 9-2 with a 3.06 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. He has allowed just 112 hits in 123.1 innings. Imanaga isn’t overpowering, but he does the little things right.

The pitcher limits his walks, which prevents crooked numbers. The Guardians starter, Ben Lively, has also done a solid job keeping runs off the board. He has very similar numbers to Imanaga, which should make it challenging for Chicago. 

Lively is 10-7 with a 3.59 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. He has fanned just 92 batters in 110.1 innings, but he is elite when yielding ground balls. If both pitchers do their job, this game should stay under the 8.5 run total.
