MLB Parlay Picks Today: Cardinals vs. Cubs (2:20 PM, EST)

Cardinals Moneyline (-112) at FanDuel

Erick Fedde makes his St. Louis debut in a matchup against Javier Assad. The Cardinals are 56-52 trailing the Brewers by five games in the NL Central. The Cubs come into this matchup at 52-58 trailing the Brewers by ten games. 

Fedde will try to make his presence felt in St. Louis as he makes his first start for the team. He is 7-4 with a 3.11 ERA. He has 108 strikeouts in 121.2 innings. 

Chicago is starting Assad who is 5-3 with a 3.23 ERA. He has a 1.35 WHIP and has fanned 86 batters in 94.2 innings. 

Fedde comes over from the White Sox who have won just 27 games in 2024. He will now get more run support in St. Louis and is looking to take advantage of the help.

Look for the Cardinals offense to score a few runs off Assad early and for Fedde to capture his first win in St. Louis.

Twins -1.5 (-140) at FanDuel

The White Sox take on the Twins in Minnesota. Chicago has had a disappointing season at 27-84 in last place in the AL Central. Minnesota is 59-48 trailing only Cleveland by six games. 

The White Sox are going with Davis Martin who has a 3.38 ERA and a 2.25 WHIP. Martin has only pitched 2.2 innings in 2024. 

Joe Ryan toes the rubber for the Twins at 6-7 with a 3.62 ERA. He has struck out 138 batters in 126.2 innings. Ryan is coming off a six inning performance allowing two runs on three hits against Detroit. 

With the Twins moneyline being priced north of -300, we are more comfortable taking the run-line. 

We expect Minnesota to take care of business against the worst team in baseball, and win this matchup by at least two runs.

To close out our parlay, we are taking the Dodgers moneyline against the Athletics. Los Angeles is 63-46 with a 4.5 game lead in the NL West. Oakland comes into this game at 45-65 in last place in the AL West.

Oakland is starting Joey Estes who is 4-4 with a 4.92 ERA. He has struck out 53 batters in 71.1 innings and has allowed four runs in his last 14.1 innings.
