MLB Parlay Picks Today: Rockies vs. Astros (8:10 PM, EST)

Astros Moneyline (-245) at FanDuel

The Rockies take on the Astros in Houston for the first game of this series. Colorado is 27-51 in last place in the NL West. Houston is 38-40, trailing Seattle by 5.5 games in the AL West. 

The Rockies are going with Austin Gomber, who is 1-4 with a 4.36 ERA. He has struck out 52 batters in 76.1 innings and has a WHIP of 1.30. In his last three starts, he has gone 14.2 innings, allowing 16 runs on 22 hits. 

The Astros are starting Hunter Brown, who is 4-5 with a 4.72 ERA. He has 82 strikeouts in 74.1 innings and is coming off a six-inning performance, allowing just one earned run. 

In June, Brown has made four starts and is 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA. We expect him to stay hot and keep dealing. 

Look for Brown to go deep into this game, keeping the Rockies' bats off balance and for the Astros to score a lot of runs off Gomber and the Rockies.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Dodgers vs. White Sox (8:10 PM, EST)

Dodgers Moneyline (-240) at FanDuel

Los Angeles is 49-31 with a nine-game lead in the NL West, while the White Sox are 21-59 in last place in the AL Central. 

The Dodgers are starting Bobby Miller, who is 1-1 with a 6.00 ERA. He has struck out 20 batters in 18 innings and has a WHIP of 1.44. Miller has a small sample size in 2024 and has struggled a bit, but he has a favorable matchup against Chicago. 

The White Sox are going with Chris Flexen, who is 2-6 with a 5.03 ERA. He has 57 strikeouts in 73.1 innings. Walks have been an issue for Flexen as of late, as he has delivered seven free passes in his last 14.1 innings. 

We expect this loaded Dodgers lineup to score many runs off Flexen. Look for Los Angeles to get most of its production from Shohei Ohtani, who has hit .318 with 23 home runs in 2024.

The Marlins are 27-51 in last place in the NL East. Kansas City is 43-37, trailing Cleveland by nine games in the AL Central. 

The Marlins are starting Yonny Chirinos, who has a 3.60 ERA in five innings. He has six strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.60. 

The Royals are going with Seth Lugo, who is 10-2 with a 2.42 ERA. He has struck out 87 batters in 104 innings and has been the Royals’ best starter in 2024. Lugo is currently 37/1 to win the AL Cy Young award, which is great value.
