Astros vs Orioles Predictions

Since Saturday is one of the few days we know we’ll have a full MLB schedule, it’s always nice to take advantage of that by creating some parlays. Therefore, we have put together two separate parlays for you to consider. One involves multiple games while the other is a same-game parlay. The odds we’re using are from Caesars Sportsbook, which is giving new users a chance to get a no-sweat bet up to $1,000 on their first wager.

Best MLB Parlay Bets: Cardinals vs Cubs (2:20 PM, EST)

Cubs ML (-170) at Caesars

St. Louis might be the better team in the standings, but the Cubs have been good at home all year. They also have Shota Imanaga on the mound. The Japanese lefty has been their ace all season, going 6-1 with a 1.96 ERA. He’s had a couple of rough starts lately but has bounced back quickly. Plus, the Cubs are 10-2 in his starts. Andre Pallante starting for the Cards doesn't inspire much confidence in St. Louis. He’s been up-and-down all year and has some subpar numbers against several Chicago hitters, which is why we think the Cubs are a safe bet.

Best MLB Parlay Bets: Phillies vs Orioles (4:10 PM, EST)

Orioles ML (-178) at Caesars

Normally, it’d be foolish to bet against the Phillies. But that’s not been the case this year in games that Taijuan Walker starts. He’s currently rocking a 5.40 ERA with the Phils losing four of the last five games he’s started. On the other side, we have a lot of faith in Baltimore’s Grayson Rodriguez, even against a dynamic Philadelphia lineup. Rodriguez owns a 3.27 ERA overall but a 2.12 ERA at home. He’s also 3-0 with a 1.88 ERA in day games this season. For most of the Philadelphia lineup, this will be their first time facing Rodriguez, which could give the Phillies even more trouble. The kicker is that Baltimore is 8-3 in games Rodriguez starts, which is why we love the value we’re getting by backing the Orioles in this game.

Best MLB Parlay Bets: Yankees vs Red Sox (7:15 PM, EST)

Rob Refsnyder Over 0.5 Hits (-264) at Caesars

Needless to say, Refsnyder isn’t the obvious player to target to get a hit. But the former Yankee is 3 for 7 with a pair of doubles in his career against Carlos Rodon. He’s also batting .325 on the season and has at least one hit in 12 of his last 14 games. That makes Refsnyder one of the safest bets to get a hit in this game, which is why we’ve chosen to include him in our parlay.

Bet on Refsnyder over 0.5 Hits (-264) at Caesars

Aaron Judge Over 1.5 Total bases (-131) at Caesars

While Judge collecting multiple bases isn't a lock, it's become a rather safe bet. The MVP front-runner has eight multi-hit games in his last 13 games dating back to the end of May. In two of the games he hasn’t had multiple hits during that stretch, Judge has had an extra-base hit, so he’s hit this bet in 10 of his last 13 games. While he’s never faced Boston’s Cooper Criswell, there’s no reason to think he can’t handle the righty and continue to have a typical Aaron Judge game on Saturday.

Yankees ML (-170) at Caesars

We usually don’t like to include game results in same-game parlays, but we’ll make an exception here. The Yankees aren’t far removed from an eight-game winning streak and have won five of their last six games since that streak ended. They’ve also won the last seven games that Rodon has started, which is another good omen, especially against a Boston team that’s just 11-23 against teams with a winning record.
