The Yankees take on the Red Sox with Luis Gil on the mound. New York is 49-21 with a 2.5-game lead on the Orioles in the AL East. Boston is 34-34 in third place, trailing the Yankees by 14 games.
New York is starting Luis GIl, who is 8-1 with a 2.04 ERA. He has struck out 90 batters in 75 innings and has a WHIP of 0.93. In Gil’s last three starts, he has gone 19.2 innings allowing four runs on eight hits.
The Red Sox are going with Brayan Bello, who is 6-3 with a 4.78 ERA. He has 51 strikeouts in 58.1 innings. In Bello’s last three starts, he has gone 16 innings, allowing 12 runs off 22 hits.
We expect the New York bats to get to Bello early in this game and score many runs. Look for Gil to dominate the Boston lineup and for the Yankees to bounce back after losing to Kansas City yesterday.

Tampa Bay takes on Atlanta in a matchup featuring Chris Sale. The Rays are 33-36 in last place in the AL East. The Braves are 36-30, trailing the Phillies by nine games in the NL East.
Tampa Bay is going with Zack Littell, who is 2-4 with a 3.63 ERA. He has struck out 69 batters in 74.1 innings. Littell has been mediocre in his last three starts, going 19 innings and allowing 24 hits.
Atlanta is starting Chris Sale, who is 8-2 with a 3.01 ERA. He has 92 strikeouts in 74.2 innings to go with a 0.94 WHIP. Sale was dominant in his last start, going seven innings, allowing just two runs off five hits.
Sale has seen success this season due to his ability to pitch to contact and limit walks. Look for him to go deep into this game and for the Atlanta bats to score many runs off Littell and the Rays.
Bet on Braves (-196) at FanDuel
To wrap up our parlay, we’re focusing on the Tigers vs. Astros game. Detroit is 33-35 in fourth place in the AL Central. Houston is 31-38, trailing the Mariners by 8.5 games in the AL West.
The Tigers are starting ace Tarik Skubal, the favorite to win the AL Cy Young award at +130. He is 8-1 with a 1.92 ERA. Skubal has struck out 96 batters in 79.2 innings and has a WHIP of 0.89.
In Skubal’s last three starts, he has pitched 19.2 innings, allowing two runs on 15 hits while striking out 24 batters.
The Astros are going with Hunter Brown, who is 2-5 with a 5.58 ERA. He has 67 strikeouts in 61.1 innings. Brown has been very impressive in his last three starts but is coming off a four-walk performance against the Angels.
We’re confident in taking Detroit in this matchup with Skubal’s strikeout ability, and we expect him to go deep into this game.
