MLB Parlay Picks Today: Nationals vs.Tigers (6:40 PM, EST)

Nationals Moneyline (-116) at FanDuel

Washington takes on Detroit with both teams sharing similar records in 2024. The Nationals are 30-35 in third place in the NL East. The Tigers are 32-33 trailing the Guardians by 10.5 games in the AL Central. 

Washington is going with lefty Mitchell Parker who is 4-3 with a 3.47 ERA. He has struck out 45 batters in 57 innings. In his last start, he went seven innings allowing two runs on three hits against Atlanta.

Detroit is starting Kenta Maeda who is 2-2 with a 6.25 ERA. He has struck out 30 batters in 40.1 innings. Maeda has struggled tremendously as his opponent's batting average is .280, well above the league average. 

The Nationals are not necessarily better than the Tigers, but we think they have a slight edge with Parker on the mound. 

Look for Washington to get most of their production from CJ Abrams who has hit ten home runs along with 31 RBI’s.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Phillies vs. Red Sox (7:10 PM, EST)

Phillies Moneyline (-158) at FanDuel

The first-place Phillies take on the Red Sox in Fenway on Tuesday. Philadelphia is 45-20 leading the NL East by nine games. Boston is 33-33 in third place in the AL East. 

Zack Wheeler takes the mound rocking a 7-3 record with an ERA of 2.23. He has 91 strikeouts in 80.2 innings. In his last 20 innings, he has given up just three runs on 12 hits. 

The Red Sox will start Kutter Crawford who is 2-5 with a 3.51 ERA. He has struck out 71 batters in 74.1 innings and has a WHIP of 1.18. 

Walks have been a problem for Crawford recently. He has walked six batters in his last three starts, surrendering 15 runs. 

Alec Bohm currently leads the team in batting average at .291 as well as having 51 RBIs. Look for him and Bryce Harper to get their pitches on Tuesday.

Expect the Philadelphia to earn their way on base and make Crawford throw strikes.

The Mariners are going with Bryan Woo who is 3-0 with a 1.07 ERA. He has 24 strikeouts in 33.2 innings as well as a 0.53 WHIP. In Woo’s last 18 innings, he has allowed three earned runs on ten hits.

Woo has been pitching to contact all season and has only walked two batters. This is a perfect spot to back the Mariners with one of their best pitchers on the mound against a bad White Sox lineup.
