Burnes will face Ryan Pepiot, who has also pitched well in 2024. He is 4-2 with a 3.96 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. Pepiot is an excellent strikeout pitcher with 59 in 52.1 innings. 

Even though Pepiot has been solid, the Orioles have a starting pitching advantage with Burnes. They’re also superior on offense.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: White Sox vs. Mariners  (9:40 PM, EST)

Mariners Moneyline (-230) at FanDuel

The Mariners lead the American League West. This division is typically very competitive, but Seattle has controlled the top spot throughout the season. 

The Mariners have an excellent chance of widening their gap in the AL West because they face the White Sox in their next series. Chicago is last in every offensive category except for walks. 

They’re 29th in base on balls, so nothing has gone well for them offensively. They split a four-game series with the Red Sox over the weekend, but we still don’t trust them against Seattle. 

The Mariners are 37-30 and have one of their best pitchers on the mound in Logan Gilbert. Gilbert is 3-4 with a 3.12 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP.

He has thrown 83.2 innings, so he goes deep into games. Seattle has scored 52 more runs than Chicago this season, and we see another dominant victory coming for the Mariners.

The Padres are one of the most talented teams in baseball. Their most significant issue is that they share a division with the NL West frontrunners, the Los Angeles Dodgers. 

San Diego hasn’t converted its talent into consistent winning. It’s just 34-35, but we like it to get back on track against the Oakland Athletics. 

Oakland has exceeded expectations this season. If they maintain their current pace, they will surpass their win total. Yet, they’re not as talented as the Padres, especially when Dylan Cease takes the ball. 

Cease is 5-5 with a 3.51 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP. He has recorded 93 strikeouts in 77 innings. He will face Joey Estes, who has a 0.96 WHIP, but it has been over 27 frames. 

He also hasn’t faced many quality offenses. He was rocked by Houston, and this was the best group he battled in 2024. San Diego is batting .263 compared to Oakland's .219.
