MLB Parlay Picks Today: Cardinals vs. Phillies  (6:40 PM, EST)

Phillies Moneyline (-180) at FanDuel

St. Louis travels to Philadelphia for the first game of this series. The Cardinals are 27-27 trailing Milwaukee by five games for first place in the NL Central. The Phillies are 39-18 and have a six game lead on Atlanta in the NL East. 

The Cardinals are starting Miles Mikolas who is 3-5 with a 5.64 ERA. He has 45 strikeouts in 59 innings. 

The Cardinals expected more out of Mikolas in 2024 especially after adding Sonny Gray, but he has not lived up to the expectations yet. 

The Phillies are going with Aaron Nola who is 6-2 with a 3.04 ERA. He has struck out 65 batters in 71 innings. In Nola’s last three starts he has gone 22 innings while only giving up four earned runs. 

St. Louis has been the hottest team in baseball the last two weeks winning 12 of the last 15 games, but the schedule is getting a lot harder.
