Pittsburgh is starting Jared Jones who is 3-4 with a 3.05 ERA. He has struck out 68 batters in 59 innings. In his last three starts, Jones has gone 18 innings and allowed eight earned runs. 

Skubal will be the pitching counterpart for the Tigers. He is 6-1 with a 2.25 ERA. Skubal has struck out 72 batters in 60 innings and keeps increasing his AL Cy Young chances as the season progresses. Skubal has been almost untouchable and has limited walks in 2024. 

We expect Skubal to dominate this matchup against Pittsburgh. Look for Detroit’s bats to stay hot as they are coming off a 14-run game against Toronto.

Royals Moneyline (-126) at FanDuel

Kansas City takes on Minnesota with their ace, Cole Ragans going on Tuesday. The Royals are having a terrific season at 34-21 only trailing the Guardians by three games in the AL Central. The Twins are 29-24 trailing Cleveland by seven games. 

Ragans is 4-3 with a 3.34 ERA. He has some of the best strikeout numbers in all of baseball in 2024, striking out 76 batters in 62 innings. In his last start, he went six innings allowing no runs and one hit against the Detroit Tigers. 

The Twins are starting Simeon Woods Richardson who is 1-0 with a 2.57 ERA. In 35 innings, he has struck out 26 batters. His lack of strikeout ability will hurt Minnesota. 

Look for this game to be a dogfight as both teams are trying to gain ground in the AL Central. We expect Ragans to show up in this highly anticipated matchup which will lead to a Kansas City victory.

To conclude our Tuesday parlay, we’re focusing on a matchup between the Guardians and Rockies. Cleveland is dominating in 2024 at 36-17 leading the AL Central by three games. Colorado is 18-34 putting them in last place in the NL West. 

The Guardians are starting Triston McKenzie who has a 2-3 record with a 3.44 ERA. He has struck out 45 batters in 52.1 innings along with a 1.34 WHIP. He hasn’t been great, but is still a very capable pitcher. 

Colorado is starting Ryan Feltner who is 1-4 with a 5.07 ERA. Things in the Rocky Mountains have not been going great in 2024 as they are having another disappointing season. They’re 4-6 in their last ten games and have the Dodgers, Reds, and Cardinals coming up next. 

Look for Cleveland to score a lot of runs against Feltner and for McKenzie to have another solid performance.
