The Chicago Cubs and New York Mets under was a cornerstone of our Monday MLB parlay. Only four runs were scored in that contest, and we expect a similar result on Tuesday.
The under of 7.5 is our favorite play on the parlay, but we also have the Giants to beat the Red Sox at Fenway Park and the Guardians +1.5 against the Astros.
FanDuel Sportsbook extends a special offer to new customers, instantly granting them $150 in bonus bets upon a $5 wager on the platform. To claim this exclusive offer, simply register using our dedicated link.

The Chicago Cubs haven’t been delivering at the plate. They have scored just seven runs in their past three games. Three of these runs came by a home run against the Red Sox in the eighth inning of Sunday night baseball.
They defeated the Mets 3-1 on Monday, and we were on top of the under in that game. We took the under of 7.5 on Monday primarily because of the excellent pitchers combined with inconsistent offenses.
The same situation occurred on Tuesday when Javier Assad and Sean Manaea were on the mound. Assad is 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. He has fanned 26 batters in 27 innings of work and allowed just two homers.
Manaea is 1-1 with a 3.33 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP. He is the wild card in this game because he has walked 14 batters in 24.1 innings of work. However, he has excellent strikeout ability when on, so hopefully, this is the case.

The San Francisco Giants and Boston Red Sox are two evenly matched teams, but pitching makes a big difference in Major League Baseball. San Francisco has traveled for this series, but their ace is on the mound in Logan Webb.
It’s hard to expect any jet lag when an elite pitcher throws. The Giants play well when he is on the mound, so we’re taking them on the moneyline.
Webb is 3-1 with a 2.33 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP. He has allowed just one homer in 38.2 innings. He will pitch against Cooper Criswell, who has posted similar numbers but only has 11.1 innings on the mound in 2024.
The Red Sox live by the home run, and Webb doesn’t surrender long balls, so this is a bad matchup for Boston.
The Cleveland Guardians have been one of the best teams in baseball this season, at 19-9. However, they’re still a heavy underdog on Tuesday because of the Astros' bias.
Houston is 9-19 and 4-9 at home but -145 on the moneyline. Their pitcher, Hunter Brown, has been inconsistent this season, with a 9.68 ERA and a 2.49 WHIP.
Cleveland knows how to win, and their run line value of +1.5 for -160 is high in this spot. Josh Naylor, Steven Kwan, and Jose Ramirez have all been hitting the cover off the baseball. They should have success against Brown on Tuesday.
Houston is bound to turn its bad luck around, but it hasn’t managed to do this so far. However, bookmakers still price them as if they were playing good baseball because of their dominance in past seasons. Don’t miss out on the excellent underdog prices when teams face the Astros until Houston turns its season around.
