The Thursday MLB slate is loaded with competitive matchups. Many games have great parlay value, and we’re combining three on FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Astros are the first leg of our MLB parlay but proceed with caution because they have been cold. The final two legs feature the Padres and Yankees. San Diego is in the early window, while New York has a Thursday night start.
FanDuel Sportsbook offers new customers $150 in bonus bets instantly when they wager $5 on the platform. To take advantage of the offer, register using our exclusive link.
Here, let’s break down our three-leg parlay with +561 odds.

The Astros have been a massive disappointment this season. Houston started the year with an awful 7-17 record. However, they have incredible athletes throughout the roster, so it’s only a matter of time before they turn things around.
Houston is coming off a three-game series against Washington, in which they only managed to win one game. This is the final game of their three-game stretch against the Cubs.
On the mound for the Astros is future Hall of Famer Justin Verlander. Verlander is back and looked good in his game against the Nationals a week ago. He pitched six innings and gave up two runs on four hits.
The Cubs are bringing out right-handed Javier Assad. Chicago has confidence in the 26-year-old, who is in his second MLB season. He enters the matchup with a 2-0 record and a 2.11 ERA.
Verlander will pull through in his second start of the season and hopefully get the Astros back on the right track.
San Diego is sitting at .500 to start their season, and they’re poised to improve every game. Now they face the dreadful Rockies in Colorado, where the balls fly at altitude.
The Padres are putting Randy Vasquez on the mound for the second time this season. In Vasquez’s first start, he pitched five innings, giving up four runs on five hits. He also recorded three strikeouts.
While the Padres pitcher doesn’t have the best numbers, the Rockies are putting their 0-4 righthander, Dakota Hudson, on the bump. Hudson has given up 12 runs in his last three starts and has been favorable to every hitter he has faced.
With this game being played in Colorado, we also recommend betting over 10.5 runs. While neither team really crushes the ball, this is a good spot for offense with weak pitchers and altitude.
However, taking the Padres on the run line is a safer play in this contest. San Diego hasn’t dominated Colorado, but they’re a better team.
The Yankees, at -1.5, have just -120 odds connected against Oakland. These are great odds for the Bronx Bombers against an Oakland team that doesn’t hit the ball. The Yankees are one of the best teams in the league, while the Athletics are the complete opposite.
The Yankees have left-handed stud Nestor Cortes on the mound for the sixth time this season. Cortes has been among the best pitchers in the Yankees rotation for the last few years.
He enters this game with a 1-1 record and a 3.41 ERA. He is also ranked 32nd in strikeouts, with 28 on the season.
Cortes should be able to tear apart this atrocious Athletics lineup and earn their 17th win of the season.
