MLB Parlay Picks Today: Athletics vs. Yankees (7:05 PM, EST)

The New York Yankees still have a lead in the AL East despite losing to the Oakland Athletics on Monday. New York didn’t score a run on Monday, and we believe this drought will continue. 

The Yankees have a few hitters, such as Anthony Volpe and Juan Soto, who have come together this season. However, their core of hitters, which includes Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, haven’t come together.

Judge is batting .174 with three homers and a .645 OPS. Judge is being paid to drive the baseball, and he hasn’t done this much in 2024. Without Judge, the Yankees struggle to score and have a tough matchup against Paul Blackburn. 

Blackburn is 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. He has allowed just 17 hits in 25 innings and has yet to surrender a homer. Marcus Stroman will throw for the Yankees and has been dominant in 2024. 

Stroman is 1-1 with a 2.42 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP. If both pitchers can perform as expected, we shouldn’t see many runs on Tuesday.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Marlins vs. Braves (7:20 PM, EST)

The Atlanta Braves are one of the best teams in baseball and are currently picked second in the World Series market. They have won two straight series against the Rangers and Astros and are 5-1 in their past six games, so things couldn’t be much better for Atlanta at this point in the season. 

Max Fried will pitch for Atlanta. While his stats aren’t great, he has improved in the past couple of starts. Miami is precisely what Fried needs to find himself again, and we’re trusting the southpaw on Tuesday.

Trevor Rogers will throw for Miami, and he should struggle against Atlanta’s offense. The Braves lead baseball in average (.283) and OBP (.220). If Atlanta gets pitches in the zone, they don’t miss, and Rogers has allowed 24 hits in 20.2 innings.

Griffin Canning will throw for the Angels and has been the complete opposite of his Tuesday counterpart. Canning is 0-3 with an 8.05 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP. 

The pitcher has allowed five homers in 19 innings while surrendering 25 hits in this span. The Orioles have scored 30 more runs than the Angels and have a superior bullpen. Take Baltimore to close out the parlay in Los Angeles.
