The Thursday slate is small, but we have plenty of bets. It’s still early in the season, but there is value on the board.
The Guardians have an advantage over the Red Sox. This is the backbone of our parlay, and we’re combining it with the Rangers and runs in the Angels vs. Rays game.

The Guardians have one of the best records in baseball and have dominated Boston. For the first time in a while, they’ve got talent on the mound and at the plate.
Cleveland can make a championship run if they continue their level of play. However, this team is locked in on the moment, making them perfect for betting.
Carlos Carrasco will take the mound for the Guardians on Thursday. He pitched well in his last outing against the Yankees, giving up only one run on five hits in 4.2 innings. Carrasco has pitched in three games thus far and has a 3.55 ERA.
Boston is bringing out right-handed Cooper Criswell for the second time this season. In his first start, he pitched four innings, gave up five hits, and surrendered two runs.
Cleveland has the momentum and the lineup to make Thursday a very bad day for Criswell and the Red Sox.
Bet on Guardians +1.5 at FanDuel
Texas is picking up where they started during their World Series run. This is a very complete team, making them tough to beat.
On Wednesday, the Rangers pulled off a slight upset victory over Detroit in the final inning. Texas battled through a late-game surge by Detroit to prevail 5-4.
The Rangers have a 2-1 series lead over the Tigers and hope that starting pitcher Jack Leiter will have a great debut. Leiter, a rookie out of Vanderbilt, has Cy Young potential.
Kenta Maeda will pitch for Detroit for the fourth time this season. Maeda has not been very productive this season. He’s pitched 15 innings, surrendering 14 hits and four home runs.
Texas is a slight dog with an unproven pitcher. However, Maeda has been atrocious thus far, giving us faith in the defending World Series champions.
The Angels and Rays total is set at 8.5 runs on Thursday. Neither of the starting pitchers has shown the ability to limit the allowed runs. Tampa Bay should pull out this win, but the over is more appealing.
Griffin Canning will take the mound for the third time this season. Canning has a 9.88 ERA and has given up 21 hits with five home runs in just 13.2 innings. Cannings’ 2024 campaign has been all but successful, and now he faces a heavy-hitting Tampa Bay team.
The Rays are bringing out Ryan Pepiot to start this Matchup. Like Canning, Pepiot has struggled to start this season.
Pepiot has a 1-2 record with a 5.44 ERA. In his 16.2 innings this season, Pepiot has given up 12 hits and three home runs. These two pitchers can’t be trusted, making us believe runs will be scored.
