After a slow start to the season, the Atlanta Braves are finally finding their bats. They have posted an OPS over .800 over the last week, leading to their record steadily improving. Below, we’ll share why we like their hot streak to continue tonight, as well as two other bets we are locking in.

Run Line | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Braves | -1.5 (-110) | -190 | Over 8.5 (+100) |
Nationals | +1.5 (-110) | +158 | Under 8.5 (-120) |
Spencer Strider (0-1, 3.60 ERA, 1.20 WHIP) will be making his second start of the season after missing the last month with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old missed almost all last season with an elbow injury, meaning tonight will be just his second start since April 5, 2024. That means he’s still settling in and will be vulnerable against a Nationals lineup that has been seeing the ball well lately.
Washington will have Mitchell Parker (3-3, 4.32 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) on the mound tonight. The second-year starter was fantastic over his first five starts, but has imploded since then. He has a 9.68 ERA and 1.98 WHIP over his last four starts, and hasn’t made it past the fifth inning. Expect another ugly outing tonight against a Braves team that is batting above .300 over the last week.
Once these two starters exit, they’ll turn things over to a pair of unreliable bullpens. That means we will see a lot of offense throughout this game, leading to an easy cover.

Rangers | +1.5 (-130) | +158 | Over 9 (-110) |
Yankees | -1.5 (+110) | -190 | Under 9 (-110) |
Rangers starter Patrick Corbin (3-2, 3.35 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) is having his best season since 2019, but he’s been far from perfect. He isn’t missing many bats, a problem that will cost him dearly tonight. With the Yankees batting .305 against Corbin over 128 at-bats, expect the veteran to deliver his worst start of the season.
We all know how dangerous Aaron Judge is, but Cody Bellinger has been just as impressive in May. He owns a .351 average and 1.053 OPS with four home runs and 12 RBIs. He will stay hot tonight against a veteran pitcher he has a .391 average against over 23 at-bats.
New York will turn to Will Warren (2-2, 4.61 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) to start opposite Corbin. The 25-year-old had a rough April, he has a 3.18 ERA over three starts this month. He isn’t dominating games, but he will do so tonight against a Rangers team batting .200 over the last week.

Guardians | +1.5 (-225) | -105 | Over 7.5 (-110) |
Twins | -1.5 (+185) | -115 | Under 7.5 (-110) |
Guardians starter Gavin Williams (3-2, 4.29 ERA, 1.64 WHIP) has been improving on his ERA, but he is still allowing far too many baserunners. He’s allowed 15 hits and 10 walks over 14 innings pitched (1.78 WHIP) this month.
Williams struggles will cost him tonight against a Minnesota team that has found its bats after a slow start. Byron Buxton is back to playing like an All-Star, and newly acquired Kody Clemens has a 1.062 OPS in May. We expect them to stay hot against an erratic starter and a shaky bullpen tonight.
Twins’ starter Chris Paddack’s (2-3, 4.05 ERA, 1.18 WHIP) numbers don’t tell the whole story. They are inflated by an ugly season debut where he allowed nine runs over 3 ⅓ innings. Since then, he has posted a far more respectable 3.24 ERA.
The righty has been playing his best baseball over his last two starts. He combined to pitch 14 innings, allowing one run on six hits and one walk. We expect that trend to continue against a Cleveland team batting .161 against him.
