Any concerns about Bailey Ober’s rocky season debut have been put to rest in April. The Twins’ starter has been fantastic in April, helping to settle Minnesota’s rotation early in the season. He’ll be trying to stay hot tonight as he takes on the AL Central rival Cleveland Guardians.
Below, we’ll share our bet for that game, along with two of our other favorites. The odds we use below are taken from Caesars Sportsbook. If you’d like to sign up to give Caesars a try, use promo code WSNDYW to claim a “Bet $1, Get Ten 100% Profit Boost Tokens” offer.

Run Line | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Twins | +1.5 (+105) | -160 | Over 9.5 (+100) |
Guardians | -1.5 (-125) | -135 | Under 9.5 (-120) |
This is one of the most underrated pitching matchups of the week. On one side is Bailey Over (2-1, 5.04 ERA, 1.44 WHIP). The 29-year-old’s ugly numbers are inflated due to allowing eight runs over 2 ⅔ innings in his first start of the season. The righty has a 2.42 ERA across four starts since then, showing he has settled in for the 2025 campaign.
The Cleveland lineup hasn’t been great to start the season, with a .237 average. Steven Kwan remains one of the hottest hitters in baseball, but the rest of the lineup has struggled out of the gate. That includes veteran first baseman Carlos Santana, who has failed to get a hit in his last 21 at-bats. Considering Minnesota owns a .178 average across 45 at-bats against Ober.
Cleveland starter Gavin Williams (2-1, 4.15 ERA, 1.35 WHIP) is coming off his best start of the season. He held Aaron Judge and the Yankees to two runs over 6 ⅓ innings, striking out eight. While his WHIP has been a concern, he’ll have a chance to improve it against an underwhelming Twins lineup.
Minnesota faced Williams twice last season, and the young pitcher delivered a 2.45 ERA with an OBA of .209.
Look for both starters to deliver gems en route to a low-scoring battle.

---|---|---|---|
Tigers | -1.5 (+150) | -115 | Over 8 (-105) |
Astros | +1.5 (-178) | -105 | Under 8 (-115) |
Betting the under in a Jack Flaherty (1-1, 2.63 ERA, 1.02 WHIP) is easy to explain, but betting on Ronel Blanco (2-2, 5.01 ERA, 1.37 WHIP) has been a risk this season. The 31-year-old played his first full season as a starting pitcher in 2024 and was fantastic, going 13-6 with a 2.80 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. He has shown the same consistency this year, but he has looked far better lately.
Blanco has an ERA of 3.24 over his last three starts, showing the righty is settling in. His previous start was his best of the season, holding the Jays to one run on two hits and two walks over 6 ⅔ innings. Expect that trend to continue against a Tigers team that he shut out over seven innings in Houston last June.
The Tigers have looked like a World Series contender, but their lineup has been average this season. That makes us comfortable taking this under the bet, especially with the talented Astros bullpen, anchored by Josh Hader.

Athletics | -1.5 (+143) | -110 | Over 9 (-115) |
Rangers | +1.5 (-170) | -110 | Under 9 (-105) |
The Rangers have looked far better in 2025, but that’s not due to their offense. The lineup has a .223 average on the season and has shown no signs of improvement over the last week. While the Rangers' pitching staff has been sharp, the struggling lineup has us locking in the under with JP Sears (3-2, 3.21 ERA, 1.11 WHIP) on the mound for the A’s.
Sears has served the A’s well over the last few seasons, but is currently playing the best baseball of his career. We expect his success to continue tonight against a Rangers team he went 3-0 with a 2.37 ERA against in three starts last season. We aren’t sold on him keeping this up all season, but he will tonight.
As a rule, we never trust Rangers starter Patrick Corbin (2-0, 3.77 ERA, 1.53 WHIP), but tonight is an exception. The reason we are backing Corbin is his strong start to the season, which includes a start against the A’s last week where he allowed two runs over five innings. He won’t last too long, but will turn things over to the Rangers' bullpen, which has been strong in 2025.
