Best MLB Bets Today April 11

Nobody has looked better than Royals’ starter Kris Bubic this season. He’ll take his 2-0 record and 0.71 ERA into Cleveland to take on the rival Guardians. Below, we’ll share our favorite bet for this game and two others we are locking in tonight.

We’ll be using odds take from Caesars Sportsbook. If you’d like to sign up to give Caesars a try, use promo code WSNDYW to claim a “Bet $1, Get Ten 100% Profit Boost Tokens” offer.

Kansas City Royals vs. Guardians (6:10 PM, EST)

Guardians-1.5 (+158)-140Under 7 (-105)

We are riding a red-hot Kris Bubic to victory tonight. The former reliever has been stellar as a member of the Kansas City rotation, going 2-0 with a 0.71 ERA. Those starts came across the Orioles and Brewers, which have better lineups than he will see tonight.

The Guardians are struggling to find their offense. They rank in the bottom five of the league in batting average (.204) and runs scored (38). Those numbers won’t improve with Bubic on the mound, leading to little-to-no offensive production for Cleveland.

Cleveland will have one of the best young starters on the mound in Tanner Bibee. He has had success against the Royals but is coming off a start where he allowed the Angels to score seven runs on eight hits and one walk over four innings.

Even if Bibee bounces back, the back of the Guardians' bullpen has been shaky. Paul Sewald and Emmanuel Clase each have one save but own ERAs over 4.00. If this is a low-scoring brawl, we trust the Royals' bullpen far more than the Guardians’.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds (6:40 PM, EST)

Run LineSpreadMoneylineTotal
Pirates+1.5 (-165)+130Over 8.5 (-105)
Reds-1.5 (+140)-155Under 8.5 (-115)

Reds -1.5 (+140) at Caesars Sportsbook

The Pirates' offense has been struggling badly at the plate this season, leading to a league-worst .198 batting average. Stars Bryan Reynolds and Oneil Cruz have gotten off to slow starts, and the lineup doesn’t have the depth to compensate.

Pittsburgh’s offensive problems won’t improve with Brady Singer on the mound. The former Royal is 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA coming into tonight’s game. He struggled against the Pirates in his only outing against them in 2024 but will be set up well to get revenge against a worse version of the Buccos tonight.

The Pirates will be starting Bailey Falter on the mound tonight. The 27-year-old was improved last season but still finished with a 4.43 ERA. He is coming off a start against the Yankees where he allowed seven runs over four innings. The Reds don’t have the firepower of the Yankees, but they have enough to beat up the struggling lefty.

Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners (9:40 PM, EST)

Rangers-1.5 (+143)-130Over 6.5 (-120)
Mariners+1.5 (-170)+110Under 6.5 (+100)

Jacob deGrom is coming off a tough outing against the Rays but will have a chance to bounce back tonight. The oft-injured ace will be taking on the Mariners, one of the worst offensive teams in baseball. Even if deGrom isn’t 100%, he will have no problem working through Seattle’s slumping lineup.

Bryce Miller has not looked himself to begin the season. He is 0-2 with a 5.73 ERA and 1.64 WHIP, a massive regression from his breakout year in 2024.

We believe Miller is one of the best pitchers in baseball. However, even if he keeps Texas in check, he won’t receive enough run support to get a win. That has been a theme early in the young starter’s career, and it won’t change in 2025.
