The bookmakers clearly don’t rate Minnesota Rokkr heading into this tie. This is a bit strange, considering Minnesota has won four of their last five matches. The Subliners are also in decent nick with three wins in their last five, but the form has little to do with the odds on offer for this match. 

The Subliners are 75 points ahead of Minnesota Rokkr on the CDL table. This is clearly the biggest determinant for the odds, but it must be noted that the Subliners have played three games more than Minnesota. Of course, there’s no guarantee that Minnesota will win the three extra games, but there’s a sense that the bookmakers might just be overrating the Subliners heading into this match.

They have a fantastic record against the Minnesota Rokkr, but they can’t take them too lightly, as their upcoming opponents have been in excellent form recently. 

Statistically, the Subliners don’t have too many weaknesses. Their record on Search & Destroy is arguably the only area of concern. They’ve won 25 and lost 27 of their matches on the game mode this season. PaulEhx’s form in this game mode is pretty encouraging; he has averaged 0.72 kills per round with a KD of 1.13. 

Their record on Hard Point is phenomenal, with 42 wins and 30 losses this season. Any round in this game mode should be wrapped up with ease. The record on Control is good but not spectacular by any means. They’ve managed 22 wins and 20 losses in this game. Hydra has been phenomenal all season in this mode, with 20.9 kills per 10 minutes and a KD of 1.13.

The Subliners have a star for each game mode, making them a tricky side to play against. Of course, there are some issues when you construct a roster like this because you must constantly change your tactics, making it difficult to form chemistry. 

Ultimately, these are small issues that other teams would love to have. The Subliners have all the tools to beat Minnesota Rokkr. 

Minnesota Rokkr’s Record on Search & Destroy Could Swing This Tie 

The Minnesota Rokkr have a few reasons to believe that they can get something out of this game. They’re in excellent form at the moment, with four wins in their last five matches, and have an excellent record on the Search & Destroy game mode, where the New York Subliners have struggled this season. 

Minnesota Rokkr have a win-loss record of 24-19 in Search & Destroy this season. Standy deserves a lot of credit for his performances in this game. He tends to play quite aggressively here, as the first-blood rate of 14.1% suggests, and he has matched this with 0.76 kills per round and a KD of 1.06 this year. If he can play to this level on Search & Destroy next week, the Minnesota Rokkr could definitely get their desired result. 

Minnesota’s record on the other game modes isn’t as good. They have a win-loss record of 22-31 on Hard Point. If Hard Point is the deciding factor, the New York Subliners could crush Minnesota Rokkr. 

Their record on Control is more encouraging, with 15 wins and 17 losses this season. There isn’t a lot between the two teams as far as this game mode is concerned. Havoc and Attach will have to do a lot of heavy lifting in this game mode for Minnesota to win in this mode; it’s not impossible, even though it’s improbable. 

It goes without saying, but the Minnesota Rokkr will need a lot of luck to get a win in this match. Stranger things have happened before in the Call of Duty League, so we think they’re worth the punt for this match.
