That will undoubtedly change after this game, and it’ll be fascinating to see who comes out on top. 

Atlanta Reign go into this tie as the favorite, which is no surprise. They’re on top of the league and have played one match more than the Outlaws. However, there’s no value in wagering on them, and betting on the Outlaws is far from a punt. 

Like Atlanta Reign, they have a flawless record this season. This won’t be an easy match for either team, and the Houston Outlaws have got enough quality on their roster to cause an upset. Atlanta Reign Have Gotten Much Better in a Short Time

Just a few months back, Atlanta Reign finished in 9th place in the Overwatch League playoffs. Things change very quickly in the Overwatch League, and their current position at the top is proof of this.

Atlanta Reign’s Stalker has been incredible in the first three games, with 307 eliminations, 58 deaths, and 112783 damage. He’ll take some stopping in this kind of form, but he isn’t without weaknesses. As the death stats suggest, he is pretty vulnerable defensively, so it’ll be fascinating to see how Houston attempts to target this. 

Atlanta enjoy a bit of rotation, so it’ll be interesting to see if they tweak things a little as the game progresses. 

Houston Outlaws Will Provide Stiff Competition  

Houston Outlaws go into this game as the underdogs, but there’s little reason for them to fear Atlanta Reign. When the two sides last faced each other, Houston Outlaws won 3-2. Like Atlanta Reign, they’re yet to lose a map, but they’ve played one match less. They’ve also improved massively in recent times. They were a midtable team for a while before reaching third place in last season’s place and third in the Pro-AM this season. 

Happy has been outstanding for the Houston Outlaws this season. Not only is he highly aggressive, but he’s also great at evading attacks, with just 15 deaths in his first two matches. To manage 233 eliminations and 74,733, along with those excellent defensive stats, is quite remarkable. 

In the healing department, Viol2t and Shu share the responsibility. If the Houston Outlaws are going to achieve something this season, it will be thanks to their defense. No team has been as devastating in attack as Atlanta Reign this season, so it’ll be intriguing to see if they can penetrate Houston Outlaws’ defenses. 

They’ve barely rotated their line-up, which is another good sign. The longer the team builds chemistry, the better it’ll be in the long term. Like Atlanta Reign, they’re looking to go up another level, so whoever wins this match will be the team to beat for the rest of the league season. 

Atlanta Reign have a packed squad full of quality, so Houston will have to put in a monumental effort to get something out of this game, but they’ve beaten them before and can certainly do it again.
