Considering how weak his teammates are, these aren’t bad numbers; he’s certainly a player you can build the team around. Those numbers will certainly see a bump if players with similar qualities surround him. 

They’re not likely to win this game, but they need to perform well if they want to qualify for the playoffs. A good performance against a side like Bilibili Gaming could give them confidence for the rest of the league season. 

Bilibili Gaming Look Set for Redemption

Bilibili Gaming have gone up a level since finishing as runners-up last season. As good as they were in the playoffs last season, they only finished in fifth place in the league last season. Despite playing five games less this season, they’ve already managed the same number of league wins as last season, showing just how much they’ve improved this season. 

They’ve been immaculate all season; a loss to an excellent JD Gaming side has been the only low point. They should have no trouble getting the better of FunPlus Phoenix. It’s hard to categorically state what’s changed since last season because Baiye, the sub, has been the only addition to the team this year. 

Elk has gone up a level this season and is arguably one of the best players in the league. He has averaged 5.39 kills per game, 2.27 deaths per game, and 5.5 assists per game this year. He’s worth almost two players from FunPlus Phoenix, showing just how big a gap in quality exists between these two teams. But it isn’t all about Elk in this team. Xun has averaged 3.32 kills per game, 2.76 deaths per game, and 5.5 assists per match this season. 

With two players of such quality, the aim for the season is pretty clear: win the league. Of course, JD Gaming will have something to say about that – they’re the current champions and the only team to beat Bilibili Gaming this season, but Bilibili Gaming have the players to get the better of JD Gaming. 

As far as this match is concerned, Bilibili Gaming have to go about business as usual. It’s important to maintain standards, and we doubt Fun Plus Phoenix will give them much to worry about.
