It’s important to remember that Evil Geniuses have won the LCS before and have a habit of turning up in the big games; however, they seem to have dropped a level last season and haven’t really fixed the issue this season. The strongest teams will test them in the playoffs, so this match is a great way to prepare for the same. 

One of the reasons for their improvement this season has been trusting the players on their roster to come good. They didn’t add anyone in the summer, and they’ve been rewarded for their patience. However, they’ll ultimately need more quality if they want to win the big prize. 

Hari and Yeon are solid players, with averages of over 3.3 kills per game this year, but that’s not likely to be enough to get deep into the playoffs. It might be enough for individual matches like the upcoming one, but they’ll need a bit more if they want to go toe-to-toe against Golden Guardian and Cloud9.
