Jos Buttler is slowly getting back to form after a not-so-great IPL season and the England captain will need to step up in this crunch match against South Africa, who boast of a quality bowling line-up. Buttler’s T20 template is slightly different to those of other England batters in that he likes to settle in and go for his big strokes.

Heinrich Klaasen to Be the Top-Scorer for South Africa (+400) on BetMGM

South Africa have had quite a few batting mishaps this tournament with the top-order being very fickle. This trend continued even against USA too, with none except Quinton de Kock quite adapting to the conditions in the first ten overs. 

In walked Heinrich Klaasen at No.5 and produced a vital 22-ball 36 that all but changed the complexion of South Africa’s innings. His knock proved to be pivotal as the Proteas only just managed to stave off the challenge from USA bowlers.

The conditions here in St Lucia are expected to be much better for batting than in Antigua, but with England's strong new-ball attack, the onus is on Klaasen to take down the spin duo of Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali through the middle overs and also tackle the high pace of Mark Wood and Jofra Archer in the death overs.

Klaasen is best placed to do so and being in the form of his life, the South African can cause significant damage this game.

Jofra Archer to Be the Top Wicket-Taker for England (+300) on BetMGM

With the new ball, England's biggest weapon against the South Africans would be Jofra Archer. With pace, swing and seam movement upfront, Archer is the perfect new ball bowler for these conditions and in the Proteas line-up, he has a vulnerable top-order to cash in on. Archer has six wickets in five games this tournament, but what's notable is that no batter has been able to take him down significantly, reflected in an economy rate of 6.58. 

South Africa’s top four have struggled for runs this tournament and Archer presents their biggers challenge yet. The new ball bowler has been in top form since his return to international cricket and is expected to turn up and produce another world-class performance.

Johnson Charles to Be the Top-Scorer for West Indies (+480) on FanDuel

Johnson Charles has had a mixed run in the T20 World Cup so far with two ducks in five innings and starts in the other few games. In his most recent outing at this very venue, Charles made 38 off 34 balls. The swashbuckling batter likes pace on the ball and the back of a length channel, which USA bowlers operate on regularly.

Charles has shown he can play his shots and make good scores on surfaces like this and having got a taste of the pitch last game, the West Indies opener can be expected to be one of USA’s biggest threats in this Super Eight clash. With West Indies having lost a game already, Charles will be key to setting the tone with the bat early on and making a good score.

Andries Gous to Be the Top-Scorer for USA (+270) on FanDuel

Andries Gous comes off the back of a brilliant innings against South Africa, top-scoring an unbeaten 80 off 47 balls. With a bit more support from the other end, Gous might well have won the game for USA. Against West Indies, on an even better batting pitch, Gous will once again be USA’s most important player. 

Having moved to the top to partner with Steven Taylor, Gous has time to settle in and make an impact. Taylor’s aggressive style fits perfectly with Gous’ way of innings-building and the USA player, who hails from South Africa and recently qualified for USA, can be expected to make another good score this match.

Akeal Hosein to Be the Top Wicket-Taker for West Indies (+350) on BetMGM 

South Africa's batters, especially the middle-order, has a common weakness: left-arm spin. West Indies’ strength lies in the fact that they have two such spinners to operate through the middle overs: Akeal Hosein and Gudakesh Motie. Off the two, Hosein is slightly different, with more revolutions, pace and variations up his sleeve. Hosein troubled South Africa batters previously in the bilateral series between these teams and can be expected to make an impact.

Hosein has nine wickets in five games and is the joint-third-highest wicket-taker this tournament. At home, Hosein will be key to unlocking the dangerous South African middle-order.
