Crystal is a Toronto-based copywriter focused on delivering thoughtful, well-researched content about the iGaming industry.

She has worked as a content writer for more than 10 years, and has written on topics ranging from travel to videogames. Although relatively new to iGaming, Crystal is committed to developing her skills in this industry and excited to explore everything that iGaming has to offer.

Crystal’s favorite games to play are Slingo and Megaways slots, though she also has a soft spot for blackjack tables. Living just a short drive from the casinos of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Crystal enjoys the live casino experience as much as iGaming.

Experience

Crystal transitioned to the iGaming industry in 2024 and is excited by all the opportunities it offers to learn and develop as a writer. Already a lover of card games and slots, Crystal is learning more about sports betting and the level of strategy and analysis involved. (As a born-and-bred Canadian, Stanley Cup season will be her time to shine!)

Before working in iGaming, Crystal wrote content for a number of websites including Explore, Passion Passport, and Hostelling Canada. She also worked as a narrative writer for mobile games, which gives her unique insight into everything that happens behind-the-scenes to create a successful online game.

Crystal is focused on always delivering clear, informative, and engaging content. She approaches each article she writes as both a iGamer and a writer, working to deliver content that she would want to read.

Education

Crystal has a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Manitoba, where she first developed her love of writing and research. She is constantly finding new ways to develop her writing skills, and has also taken courses in journalism and screenwriting.
