Sunday marks the last day of the college basketball regular season and also indicates the start of the best time of the year, with Conference Championships and March Madness to follow. Not only is it the last day of the regular season, but it is also the last day residents in the state of North Carolina can capitalize on FanDuel’s new user sign-up bonus.

Come March 11th, mobile sports betting goes live and gives the state’s residents the ability to wager on their favorite in-state teams. For those looking to get in on the action, FanDuel sportsbook is offering a new user sign-up bonus of up to $300 in bonus bets.

By signing up and completing the account creation process before the launch date, new users will instantly receive $100 in bonus bets. Once the state goes live on March 11th, new users can claim another $200 in bonus bets by depositing a minimum of $10 and making an initial wager of $5 or more.

For those not in the state of North Carolina and are in a legal sports betting state like Michigan or Indiana, new users can capitalize on a different sign-up bonus ahead of Conference Championship week. New users can claim up to $150 in bonus bets by simply creating an account through the promotion and making an initial wager of $5 or more.

Michigan State vs. Indiana

As the saying goes, “January, February, Izzo, April”. That saying is more vital than ever should Michigan State want to salvage their March Madness hopes. It’s been a down year for the Spartans who came in with championship aspirations but have stumbled to a 18-12 record and are dangerously flirting with the bubble.

Per Kenpom, they have severely underwhelmed as they still rank 19th overall in Adjusted Efficiency. A large part of their struggles has come from the offensive end as the Spartans rank 50th in Adjusted Offensive Efficiency. They seemingly play four against five when on offense as production at the five position has been practically non-existent. This forces the Spartans to rely on more jump shots, a recipe for inconsistency which has made them prone to scoring lulls.

Luckily for Izzo’s squad, they face an Indiana squad who has been abysmal on both ends of the court. Especially on defense, coming into the contest ranked 90th in Adjusted Defensive Efficiency. They allow open looks at the rim as well as struggle to plug the gaps in coverage against teams who move across the middle. That plays right into Michigan State’s hands, giving the Spartans the opportunity to mask their inefficiencies and create some consistent scoring to help cover the spread.

Pick: Michigan State -4.5
