Wynnbet Signing New Deal Genius Sports
  • WynnBET & Genius Sports formed a unique partnership with a focus upon NASCAR
  • The NASCAR experience is geared toward exciting “in-game wagering” potential
  • WynnBET plans to move into new US markets including Virginia & Tennessee very soon

In proving their dimension beyond a sports data provider, Genius Sports has signed a new creative deal with rising sportsbook operator WynnBET, a division of Wynn Resorts.

UK-headquartered Genius Sports Group is sports betting data and technology provider, with partnerships among several US professional leagues including the NBA, NASCAR, and the PGA Tour. Also, many international professional sports league affiliations including the English Premier League, Liga MX, Euroleague Basketball, among others.

Genius will now supply WynnBET with its LiveData and LiveTrading services, powering in-game betting experiences across its current operating states in New Jersey, Colorado, and Michigan, with more US states expected to follow.

The heart of the agreement includes Genius’ official NASCAR solution, which will enable WynnBET to offer more than 15 in-race bet-types throughout the 2021 Cup Series, starting with America’s feature NASCAR event, the Daytona 500.

As part of the new agreement, Genius Sports will utilize its official data channels to provide WynnBET access to dozens of sports organizations with a focus upon NASCAR. The deal will also provide for many international options.

In a release from the company, they explained “the new partnership will also involve Genius’ ultra-fast, reliable official data content for hundreds of international soccer, basketball, ice hockey, table tennis and volleyball federations and leagues, including the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, Liga MX, Euroleague Basketball and Argentine soccer.

In commenting about the groundbreaking partnership Jack Davison, Chief Commercial Officer at Genius Sports Group said:

Along with its broad market-access and nationally recognized brand name, Genius is an ideal partner to enhance WynnBET’s expanding online sportsbook and in-game betting offering. With growing numbers of states introducing online betting regulation, in-game handle is quickly rising – and WynnBET recognizes the direct engagement and revenue benefits of official data in this landscape.

WynnBET & Genius Sports NASCAR Ready

Genius Sports had previously formed a partnership with NASCAR in 2019, allowing for the company to become the exclusive provider of NASCAR sports wagering data to all licensed sportsbooks. While building upon that real-time betting platform for NASCAR in-race betting markets, NASCAR signed a multi-year agreement with WynnBET in October 2020.

The partnership between WynnBET and Genius Sports was quickly put into action during last weekend’s Daytona 500 for sports bettors. The deal between the companies will enable WynnBET to offer more than 15 type varieties of in-race wagers among the schedule of the 2021 Monster Energy Cup Series.

Many have expressed doubt regarding the potential for auto racing involving wagering, however, the sport’s appeal and popularity can be boosted with these new in-race betting options. Several unique proposition wagers have heightened interest and will only grow once the wagering public increases their familiarity and experience.

WynnBET on the Move

Besides their three current US operating sports wagering states, WynnBET has plans for expansion into new markets including Virginia, a major NASCAR hotbed.

The company has submitted for a license in Virginia, pending approval this week. WynnBET also has been approved to begin operation in Tennessee while viewing other new states to begin sports betting operation in the coming months.
