Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has unveiled a new rewards program for customers of the BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse sportsbooks and casinos. The gaming company aimed to make rewards easier for the average bettor to earn and claim, and the new program does just that.
The new loyalty program is similar to several other industry leaders. Bettors will be able to access a tiered system, earning their way through Gold, Platinum, and Black levels. The more active casino and sportsbook customers are, the higher they will move up the three levels.
Customers can earn three types of points: Loyalty Points, Bonus Store Points, and Tier Points. This gives them several different avenues to earn rewards, giving them plenty of reasons to continue using RSI platforms. With fierce competition for market share, using rewards to keep customers is becoming an increasingly popular strategy among operators.
“As a player-first operator, we listened to our players' feedback and made improvements,” RSI CEO Richard Schwartz shared in a press release. “Since RSI’s inception, we’ve prioritized player retention. With our extremely fast growth in new customers over the past few years, it was imperative we continue to invest in new player benefits and creative ways to add value to our player experience, reaffirming our philosophy to always put players first.”
The rewards range from bonus funds to luxury vacations. Many rewards will be similar to those offered through their old program but far easier to claim.
While many casino and sportsbook operators have chosen to cease operations in the US, RSI has continued to grow. It grew by over $650 million in 2023 and is expected to grow even more by the end of 2024.
Customer loyalty has been the gaming company's primary goal, leading to many bonuses and promotions and, now, an improved rewards program.
The BetRivers sportsbook is currently live and operational in 15 US betting markets. The brand, along with PlaySugarHouse, has also enjoyed success in the country’s small online casino industry.
