Bally’s Online Casino Continues to Find Success in Pennsylvania

Bally’s has not wasted any time making their presence felt in the Keystone State.

Just over five months after soft-launching their online casino in Pennsylvania, Bally’s continues to find success in the market. The platform has seen its revenue increase each month, making it one of the most popular platforms among gamblers.

In addition to the success of the online casino, Bally’s also received a major legal victory in the state. The US Supreme Court recently ruled in their favor over a case involving a new site for a retail location. The ruling means that Bally’s can now move forward with the construction of a small retail casino in State College.

“Obviously, the lawsuits are behind us. We’re now focused on going through the process and obtaining the appropriate approvals with the [Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board],” Bally’s President George Papanier said during an earnings call. “So we’re focused on that. And timing of construction probably won’t be until the first half of 2025 at this point.

The casino location will mark a significant step forward for Bally’s in Pennsylvania, giving them even more exposure in the crowded market.

This run of good luck also coincided with a merger between Bally’s and Standard General, giving the company a financial boost.

Bally’s Success Not Limited to Pennsylvania

Bally’s victories in Pennsylvania are impressive, but they are not limited to the state. The platform has also posted impressive numbers in Rhode Island. The online casino has seen its revenue rise in the small market, driven mostly by its large selection of slot games.

Bally’s also recently launched their sportsbook in Massachusetts and Maryland. Many thought the operator’s sports betting platform would fail, but that hasn’t happened. A new strategy has led to a more strategic roll-out, and the results have been impressive.
