There's only one game on the schedule for NBA Thursday night, but plenty of players have some props to look out for!
The Dallas Mavericks and the Detroit Pistons will face off, led by Luka Doncic who is coming off of an efficient three-point shooting night. Spencer Dinwiddie's playmaking will be under the microscope against the lesser Pistons. And Dorian Finney-Smith will try to fill the stat sheet again for the Mavericks.
Let's check out the bets!
Luka Doncic is coming off of one his biggest wins of the season, as he led the Mavericks with a tremendous effort against the Warriors. At DraftKings, Doncic is a +100 to clear 2.5 threes against the Pistons.
On the season, Doncic is averaging 33.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 8.6 assists on 50.5% from the field and 31.5% from three. He only hits 2.4 threes per game through the season, but he's made nine threes over his last three games alone.
The Pistons aren't known for their three-point defence, so Doncic should thrive. Expect him to be more efficient with his three-point shooting, especially after a 4 of 9 night in his last game.

Spencer Dinwiddie is not the most flashy point guard in the NBA, but he does a great job of relieving Doncic from leak playmaking duties. At FanDuel Sportsbook, Dinwiddie is a -111 to clear 4.5 assists.
On the season, Dinwiddie is averaging 17.0 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.0 rebounds on 47.5% from the field and 40.0% from three. He's struggled with his playmaking over the last three games, averaging 3.7 assists to 2.3 turnovers.
Not known for limiting ball movement - 17th in the NBA at 25.6 assists allowed per game - Dinwiddie has the chance to create many opportunities against the Pistons. That's if Doncic is given a bit of a break from playmaking duties.
Dorian Finney-Smith is expected to continue his energetic play when he faces off against the Pistons. Finney-Smith is a -115 to clear 13.5 points and rebounds combined at PointsBet.
On the season, Finney-Smith is averaging 9.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game on 41.8% shooting from the field and 33.3% from three. Over his last three games, Finney-Smith has cleared 13.5 points and rebounds by a margin of +4.2.
Finney-Smith isn't a scorer, he's more of a utility man. That means he's very playable and contributes all over the court. Against a lesser Pistons team, Finney-Smith projects to clear 13.5 points and rebounds with ease.
