Energetik-BGU has been too inconsistent this season and show a lack of confidence playing on the road. FC Slutsk on the other hand has been in fine form, playing at top gear, and 11 goals in seven matches. They will have to improve on their defensive efforts though.

FC Slutsk is having a fantastic season so far, sitting two points clear of second place at the top of the Belarusian Premier League. Their current three-match win streak has been a high scoring affair.
Slutsk’s attacking barrage has powered them to victory in recent matches, all lead by Umar Bala and Artem Serdyuk. The support they are receiving from their fullbacks has also been productive.
It isn’t all roses for Slutsk though, as they are yet to keep a clean sheet this season. A win over Energetik-BGU will only cement them as premiere league favorites, but keeping a clean sheet will show an added depth to their play.
Previous Fixture: Smolevichy-STI (0-2) Energetik-BGU
Match Highlights (01-05-2020)
Vladimir Belyavskiy {Current: 4-0-3 (4th in Vysheyshaya Liga) | Top Scorer: Jasurbek Yaxshiboev (4) | Form: WLLL}
(GK) #1 A. Lesko – (DEF) #6 A. Sokol, #9 E. Yudchits, #4. A. Shkurdyuk, #15 A. Svirepa – (MID) #2 A. Nosko, #11 S. Umarov, #22 D. Tweh, #10 J. Mawatu – (FWD) #7 J. Yaxshiboev, #18 A. Musahagian
Energetik-BGU began its 2020 campaign with three straight wins. Unfortunately they broke even with three straight losses to follow, only bouncing back last week with a win over Smolevichy-STI.
Frankly speaking Energetik-BGU has struggled to defend in key areas. They have been able to win possession, but lapses in focus and positioning have punished them greatly.
Their backline will be tested against FC Slutsk, who have one of the highest-scoring rates in the league. But Energetik got off to an excellent start in their last match and should push the pace in order to stave off FC Slutsk’s own attack.
FC Slutsk and Energetik-BGU have only played four matches against each other since 2010. FC Slutsk are the leaders with two wins and only two draws between the clubs. Goal-scoring has also been in favor of FC Slutsk, scoring nine to Energetik-BGU’s 4.
A win for FC Slutsk would keep them at the top of the league, as much as two points clear of second place in the league.
A win for Energetik-BGU would bring them as high as second place in the premier league table.

Boris Pankratov was named FC Slutsk’s best player in the month of April. While each of Slutsk’s wins have only been by a single goal, Pankratov’s performance has saved them from a number of possible draws or even losses. His ability to make up for some defensive errors has been excellent for Slutsk this season. The next step is to win some clean sheets.
Active Prop: Player to Score (+525)
Energetik-BGU got off to an excellent start in their last game due to a brilliant individual scoring effort by Liberian midfielder David Tweh. His skill on the ball is a strong point for Energetik, so if they can support him in attack they could get out to another early lead.
