Our Story

WSN has a rich history and passion for sports betting and a commitment to providing top-notch resources for bettors. Over the years, we've grown and evolved, marking significant milestones along the way.

Timeline

• 2005: WSN launches as a general sports media site.

• 2008: To fund its expansion into additional sports verticals, WSN secured funding from Valhalla Investments Inc. and appointed Mark Blandford as its director.

• 2016: WSN.com is acquired by Gaming Innovation Group (now Gentoo Media), marking a significant milestone in our journey and pivot towards legal sports betting in the US.

• 2018: WSN was relaunched as a sports betting website targeting the US betting market.

• 2019: Over the years, WSN obtained vendor betting licenses from various state gaming regulatory boards to provide affiliate marketing services in the United States.

• 2020: We launched a weekly sports betting podcast, Wise Kracks, with Bill Krackomberger and Rosalie Michaels as hosts.

• 2022: Expanded our coverage into Canada, bringing our expertise to a broader audience. We also expanded into the online casino vertical, further diversifying our offering.

• 2023: We launched a brand new sports betting podcast called Ride the Line, hosted by Tanner Kern and Grant Mitchell.

• 2024: We introduced our Responsible Gambling Center, underscoring our commitment to player safety and responsible gambling.
